Vision trip to Amphawa Baptist Loving Center

With a young married couple who have committed the next six months of their lives to be all in serving our Lord, we took a vision trip two hours by car outside Bangkok City called Amphawa.  The area is mainly know for it’s famous floating and Maeklong Railway markets where tourist from all over the world come to experience.  Most of the local people who live in this community are reliant from the tourist industry that has been hit hard with the downturn of the tourism industry.  The dedicated members of New Vision Church Baptist Church in Bangkok have established the Baptist Loving Center (BLC) in Amphawa over many years through many miracles made possible by our Heavenly Father.

The visitation, Sunday service and Bible study we held at BLC were a humbling experience, for there have been many Christian churches planted but only a few have taken root.  We are praying and hoping, starting in November, to offer classes in English, Korean and Computer Science to the children in the Amphawa.  We need you prayers and financial support to buy books, supplies and snacks to make it happen.
