First FNL at Baptist Student Center 0f 2024 was a great success.
Praise the Lord. We had a very good turnout for both Thai people and English speakers to have a great weekly event. We had a great time learning a bit more of the English language and its nuances. Sow, pronounced one way is an adult female pig. In another way it means to plant seeds. It is also confusing to non-English speakers because SEW is pronounced just like to plant seeds but has different meanings.
We welcomed one new student from Vietnam who is a pHD candidate in pharmacy at a local university. We welcome all English learners. We want all nationalities to come and interact with us. You don’t need to be a Christian, all are welcome with no prejudice.
